More people than you can imagine are addicted to Facebook – compulsively checking what friends are up to throughout the day, constantly updating their status, joining countless fan pages, posting on walls, “liking” others posts, seeking out everyone they have ever met, adding photos, videos, links. It is considered one of the biggest productivity problems in some offices and employers are frequently blocking access or forbidding Facebook at work.
For some, Facebook becomes the focus of their social life to the detriment of real life friendships and gatherings. Unfortunately, there is no pill that will snap you back from virtual friendships and socializing to real friendships and human contact.
